Our Carbon Tube Ritchey-Chrétien systems are suitable for use under the toughest conditions. Whenever mobile application is required, daytime observation takes place or environmental factors do not permit an open system, our Carbon Tube RC telescopes are used. But in public observatories, it may be advantageous if the optical mirrors are not openly accessible or disturbing thermal influence of visitors should be minimized.
 

The carbon fibre tube with an expansion coefficient close to zero is air conditioned at the back or on the side. The front opening, when not in use, can is closed firmly and dust-free with a metal lid. Heavy CCD camera and instruments can be screwed on to the rear panel. The carbon tube systems are extremely stable so that even high swing speeds collimation and focus remain stable. If you need the telescope for high speed panning, please contact us.

As with all our telescope systems, the high-quality f/8,0 Ritchey-Chrétien optics comes from our own production. If desired, other Cassegrain optics can be manufactured and used. All accessories for the carbon truss series are also available in the carbon tube systems. Available in 16, 18 and 20 inches. 

Our Alluna Carbon Tube RC telescopes are adapted and manufactured according to customer's requirements.
